Functional Neuroimaging

Functional neuroimaging is an important subfield of neuroimaging which measures the brain activity, function and disease conditions. It is much related to the field of cognitive neuroscience. Several methods are used for functional neuroimaging for instance PET (Positron emission tomography), fMRI (Functional magnetic resonance imaging), SPECT (Single-photon emission computed tomography), EEG (electroencephalography) and MEG (magnetoencephalography).
